Pilates Power Gym 3-Elevation Mini Reformer Exercise Machine

I enjoy my Pilates machine although the ropes hurt your legs on some of the exercises. They seem to cut into your legs. With thicker exercise pants it's not so bad. Other than that I really like my machine. Is well-made and worth the money. I wish there were different exercise options other than the two routines that are sent to you.

Traded in my bigger Pilates machine for this one to gain more space in my office.

This machine really provides a great low-impact, full-body workout. I am looking forward to using this over the winter.

I had a larger Pilates machine that was just too large for my NYC apartment. As much as I loved it, I just had to get rid of it because of its size. I was quite excited when I saw this compact unit on HSN and am generally happy with the equipment. The machine has smooth movements and one can get a good workout on it. However, I was somewhat disconcerted to see sheets of plastic were used on the section below the headrests. Not quite as elegant as my last machine. Also, as others have mentioned the DVDs leave quite a bit to be desired. I still had the DVDs from my original machine and I'm using those instead. I've also purchased DVDs from Amazon--I particularly like the Classical Pilates DVDs. It would also be helpful if there were Pilates accessories available to fit this machine--in particular, I am thinking about the short box and pole. Hopefully, if the company continues to be successful, they will consider adding additional accessories.

I am still getting use to the leg cables, for that reason only I have it a 4star rating. If there was a 4.5 I would have given this machine that rating. I really do love it I have used it for 6 days and am already seeing the difference in my body.

I like it so far because I'm short. the price is high for because of all the plastic. And the head rest is support could be made differently it flimsy.

I 1ST BOUGHT A TOTAL GYM & SINCE I AM 74 YRS OLD, IT WAS TOO DIFFICULT FOR ME TO USE. I HAVE HAD 2 KNEE REPLACEMENTS & 1 SHOULDER REPLACEMENT AND I LOVE THIS MACHINE. FIRST OF ALL ITS COMPACT. SINCE I AM ONLY 5 FT. TALL I CAN FIT ON THIS MACHINE WELL.. SINCE THE KNEW REPLACEMENT, I CAN WORK OUT AT HOME TO STRENGTHED THE KNEE OR I CAN WORK 1 KNEE AT A TIME. I DONT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE DIFFIRENT PILATE EXERCISE, FOR YOU CAN ADJUST THE PULLEYS AT THE END OF THE MACHINE. IT HAS 1-2-3-4- AND FOR EACH EXERCISE I CAN JUST PULL OUT WHAT I NEED AND WHAM DONE!! YOU CAN ADJUST THE PULLEYS FOR BEGINNERS AND ADVANCED & I RECEIVED A DVD THAT YOU CAN WORK OUT IN JUST 8 MINUTES. I DO WORK OUT MORE , FOR I LOVE THE DIFFERENT POSITIONS. LOVE..LOVE..LOVE

I can definately feel the areas I'm working the next day. I have lower back problems and I have no trouble working out on this machine. I do however agree that the dvds lack clear intructions....nor is there a clear view of the positions. I too hope for more...potentially better dvd workouts. The ones included are not good.

This is a great machine. I love the different things that I will be able to do with the machine. The reason that I am giving it a 4 star is because there needs to be more DVD's offered. The DVD's that come with the machine are ok but not one of the DVD's show anything to do with the bar attachment nor the different exercises that she shows when using the machine on HSN. I have done pilates in the past however without having a DVD showing different things other then the ones that they show on the DVD that came with the machine is going to be a puzzling to the mind. I love to follow DVD's to do my exercising. HSN please offer more DVD's then what comes with the machine.
