This did exactly what it said it would do. Cleaned my carpet very well. The only problem, I needed to empty the dirty water frequently. It was so heavy with the clean water and dirty water, I just thought I would rather pay a cleaning service to do the work. Too heavy for a 72 year old woman.

I used for the first time just a few minutes ago and it doesn't seem to pull out water so I'm not really sure how much it puts out onto the carpet. I DO know that it is loud and probably a blower to help dry the carpet but I don't know for sure. The carpet looks much better though. The line of traffic is like new carpet. Huh...

This machine works well, but it will only fill up the dirty water container 1/3 full before the float trips and you have to dump the dirty water. I even called Bissell to ask if mine was defective and they said no... I'd also like the clean water and cleaning solution separate so you could also rinse. I know i can just fill the cleaning solution tank with plain water and do it that way. It also feels rather cheaply made. It's all plastic. It does work well though, that's why i gave it 3

Not sure where the ProHeat comes in? Our other carpet cleaner has a separate container just for the shampoo, one for the clean water, and of course the dirty water. I prefer this feature vs the mixing of the water and solution. Im not crazy about this machine, but it will have to do.

They made it look amazing on the HSN demo. It doesnt clean well with just one/two passes as shown. With a little more effort it dose OK on my area rugs, Im sure Ill still have to use a precessional now and then for a deep cleaning.

Trying to work with that carpet cleaner and found that that slit in front is very small, some of the carpets and pet hair sheddings get stuck there and prevent the dirty water to be sucked out of the carpet.Evelyn Becker

Got the cleaner and tried the same day. Filled it up and started cleaning our bedroom. Before I knew it the machine was out of water. I cleaned it out filled it up again and started and boom it was out of water again. 5 x and then I ran out of solution. Not a good machine for large areas. At the end I also noticed that the wheels are now bowed out from the weight of the water ???

Works great cleans deep down in carpet. Only downfall is solution tank too small. Have to refill too many times to clean 10'12' carpet

It's to big and a little heavy for me who has lung issues...and I noticed it leaks ckg all connections and they were fine. So sadly I'm going to return this item and in place get a smaller one..

But not well. In order to get out as much moisture as possible , I have to go over and over the same spot. I called the warrantee people and they said it wasn't covered because " my expectations were too high for a smaller machine" so I'm stuck with it.

I am pleased with the job this has done. My one complaint, comparing this to an earlier carpet cleaner, is the carpets feel really wet after extraction. I did go over them several times, but they still feel really wet.

Probably best suited for only 1 or 2 pets. We have 7 dogs, & it quit after 9 months. Bissell honoured the warranty. Overall, cleaned great but function & design need tweaking. Clean tank seal damaged quickly. Brushes find lots of debris vacuums can't reach, but kick into MANY crevices in the foot, which are difficult & disgusting to clean. Suction is great but nozzle & red filter clog quickly. LOVE the nozzle cleaning tool. Float stack may prevent overflow in machine, but not when emptying.

It does not remove all dirt as shown on TV . You have to shampoo at least 3x before the carpet looks clean

I need to speak to Bissell about the machine brushes. I've been trying to speak to Bissell, but customer service support is beyond impossible during this time. It seems that the brushes are not rotating. I've tried different adjustments and not sure of why. Till I can converse with Bissell, I can't make sure my rug shampoo works right or not.
