Origami 5-Drawer Cart with Wooden Top

I purchased one of these years ago and needed another. When I got this new one, I didn't realize that it is smaller by about 2 inches. But this one does have 5 drawers, compared to 4 on my original. I do prefer the wider drawers for my use, but the new one will still work for me. I do hope they bring back the double sided one.

Love it! This is the fifth one I have bought. Never had a problem until this one. When I opened the box it was a mess. Product legs seemed twisted around each other. Fortunately, because I already had four of these, I figured out how it was supposed to look. I was able to hammer (rubber head hammer) the legs into correct position. The rest of it was easy and it looks as good as the others. Disappointed that Origami is not checking their product more before sending out.

This fits perfectly in my bathroom and I was able to organize all my toiletries and free up counter space. I don't regret the purchase, but it's not as stable as other Origami products I've ordered in the past. Fortunately I don't plan to move it around. The drawers are a nice size and work fine.

I have owned other origami items and they were sturdier, heavier and easier to put together. It took a bit of wrangling to get the base to unfold properly. Then the drawers all fell to the bottom when I swung the top over. What I expected to be a 1 person task required 2 people to complete Also its difficult to get the little plastic drawer stoppers in or out of the top drawer slot without causing all the drawers to fall down into each other if you are one person

The quality is still up there with the first Origami pieces (shelves) I purchased years ago, and they, by the way, still look new. Origami are more functional, particularly from an organizational standpoint, than a lot of the all wood and partial wood pieces in our home. The ONE "criticism" I might make is there is no reason for the legs to be the length they are at the bottom, it makes the unit a bit top heavy in appearance and the unit does not wheel about as gracefully as it could.

The drawer dimensions on the show don't mention that they're tapered down inside. That means that a 15x15 drawer won't hold 12x12 paper without curving it! Additionally, weight limit during presentation, differs from limit on the instructions. TV presentation said it holds 20 pounds per drawer. Instructions state 8 pounds per drawer. Weight limit on top also differs. Casters versus no casters also effect weight limits. Just thought you'd like to know.

Bought it at lower price of $129 I think . Even that was high. Its convenient. Thought about ordering another for paperwork , but regular price is now out of this world for this sadly

I purchased it in white. It's nice, nothing fantastic, but simple. A few things worth mentioning here: please be cautious of sharp edges all over the place. Some of the white paint had scratches on it and dents as well (though minor). Have a vacuum handy to get all of the styro-foam crumbles that get everywhere.

Bought one for my Mom last year... she loves it!! Bought one for myself a month ago, its smaller and not as well made, but it serves the purpose!

Very good, but a little wobbly

Love this by my desk for keeping basics organized.

When I got it and put together , I notice that two of the sliding drawers were uneven.

I could not figure out how to lock the drawers in with the clips. There were no instruction. Theey dont show when presented on tv. Perhaps someone who did install clips can share method? Or maybe origami rep can advise? Love it but need drawers to not fall out. Thanks!

Useful for items you want handy, but don't want on your counters.

I have purchased several Orgami products at different times the past couple years, color, Turquoise, and all of them match perfectly in color. Easy to put together, functional. This one, I have in my bedroom, with humidifier on top, and extra glasses, sunglasses, gloves, scarves, undies in. Perfect. Only reason for 4 stars is this one is a bit wobbly.
