SOMERSIZE CRANBERRY SAUCE
Serving Size: 12
Fruit - Level One
Cranberrry sauce is generally loaded with refined sugars! Now we can have it made with SomerSweet and it's delicious. On its own, this recipe is Level One, however, if you add it to your turkey and stuffing (which I hope you will!) it becomes Almost Level One. After your cranberry sauce is all set, I like to remove it from the refrigerator and let it get to room temperature before serving.
Ingredients
1 lb. fresh or frozen cranberries
1/2 cup water
1 pouch Somersize Cranberry Seasoning Mix
Directions
  1. Combine water and seasoning pouch in a medium saucepan and set over high heat.

  2. Add cranberries and stir to combine. Allow mixture to come to a boil and continue cooking until most of the cranberries have softened and begun to split (about 8-10 minutes).

  3. Allow to cool, then chill at least 1 hour.
