Once I got them placed in my shoes they are great. It's a trick it find the right placement then remove the film so they can be glued in place. This is an issue with any pad such as these. They might feel better when wearing socks as on bare feet they make my feet warm.

Five years ago I fell hiking and broke my leg in 3 places near my ankle. I have a plate with 8 screws right near the ankle bone and need protection on both sides of the ankle. These are perfect. They are light weight and the padding is a large silicone oval that is extremely comfortable. They offer a very small amount of support, but lots of protection for you ankles, and are not bulky. I were a woman's size 10 Med width shoe. The fit is perfect for me.

Fractured my ankle and 4 months into healing I purchased these. Theyre just ok. Cushioned ankle bone from rubbing but that all.Plus only ordered one package received & was charged for two.Lets see what they do about that.

If you have a high arch, and have tried other insoles, you will be impressed. As you know there are many replacement insoles, but few offer the comfort and stability that these have, at this price. One word of caution... order 2 sizes up if you are looking for a man's size. All sizes are women's.
