We're not happy with this purchase. It doesn't take good pictures. We had trouble with the video. And now 4 months later the camera doesn't even stay on. We charged it, changed the battery and it still doesn't work. Just says Busy and shuts down. Save your money.

I bought this camera for Christmas after using plugged in to charge but the camera would not charge. Charge light would not come on. I returned to hsn they sent me a replacement. When I received that one I turned it on an the picture was upside down? Returned again ....sold out

I received this item this week, and was excited to try it. Sadly, I was only able to power it on one time, and then it never turned on again! Both batteries were fully charged, but unit still would not power on. I called Vivitar customer support, and the agent advised me to try plugging it in to see if it would power on that way. That proved unsuccessful, and he concluded the product is defective. From other reviews posted, it appears this is an ongoing design flaw. Back it goes!

Received the item.... opened it after my return period was up, of course it didn't work. I sent it back to the manufacturer and was sent back a totally different machine. Received a Polaroid that is outdated.. tried reaching out to the manufacturer and have yet to hear back. Now I'm stuck with an old camcorder that is outdated and no internet options. Very disappointed with the bait and switch from the manufacturer...

The price is low, but the product does not work with many of the things we were looking for. The camera did video, we chose to work with what it was. We purchased this camera at Christmas, today I wanted to charge the battery and found that I needed to use a rubber band to hold it in just the right place. Very disappointed

Open it & inside the camera it rattles as though something is loose inside. Didnt try to see if work but that not normal.

Bought this camera to video our new grandson. Had all the perks we were looking for plus the extras. Didn't even get to use it. Plugged it in to charge. Green indicator light went off when fully charged. Never could get the camcorder to come on. Called the technical support # in the manual only to hear...you have a defective camera. So I have to return and unfortunately HSN is sold out. And have to pay return shipping. Not happy Had to give a 1 star or could not post!

I was so excited to receive this camcorder because they made it seem so great. Well, it wasn't. The videos were very grainy and to make things worse, this was the only device I used to recorded my daughter opening up her Xmas gifts. Now I have no Xmas memories. :(

I was so excited to purchase this for my daughter for Christmas as she is moving to GA in March (first time away from home, she could start recording us & friends before she left) and it had all of the features she wants. The camera glitches, freezes, and won't connect to wi-fi. When it freezes, you have to shut it completely off then back on. She's unable to use it at all. I attempted to exchange it but they appear to be sold out. Unfortunately, I have to return it and buy another elsewhere.

I was so excited to get this so i could video tape Christmas. But, I charged it and went through the steps and it would not show on the screen. the red busy light was on like i was recording. called the number customer service gave me but i feel like Vivitar gave me the fun around. I did what they said to do and still doesn't work! I am so upset over this that i want to cry! I hope no one else is having issues...
