South Street Loft 15 lb. Calming Weighted Blanket

I followed the recommended weight but my first clue it was way too heavy was when delivery man warned me box was heavy. Im 69 & single, & could barely lift it onto my bed, followed by terrible nights sleep. Dreading packing it back into the box & just to the door for return pickup but it needs to go back.

I bought this because of the claims it helps with insomnia. No difference. Too costly to return and since it was on sale, I kept for warmth in living room when watching TV. Bothered my lower legs for sleeping.

I wanted to see what all the hype was about with weighted blankets, so I ordered the 20 pound in lavender. It's pretty but I cannot move under this thing! And I'm a big girl, so I'm no weakling. Feels like 50 pounds on top of me. UGH! It must go back. Now it's going to cost me $10 to ship it back. :(

Just not comfortable.

I purchased this to see if it would help me sleep. Its not very comfortable and my legs were hurting the morning after. I am a bit on the smaller size so maybe this works better for someone that is a little bit bigger.

I'm a 150lb female. It was said that if you are 150, then you should buy the 15 lb blanket. Well, this blanket was like being in a straight jacket. Overly, overly heavy. I could have used a 3 or 4lb blanket.

Purchased according to wgt recommendation. Blanket was well made, a great value, and color just as described. So why a low score? It was too heavy to manage. Just getting it on the bed was a challenge, as well as readjusting it when making the bed. I only used the blanket 2 nights, so I can't review the calming effect but I can affirm it was a struggle for me to handle. I had to return it.
