Hunter HP400 Tower True HEPA Air Purifier with EcoSilver Filter

I was very excited about this purifier, but it was not to be. Very easy to take out of the box, plug in, and turn on. I used it for three days straight and turned it off. I then turned it on the fourth day, and had it on for several hours and then turned it off. Today, which would be the fifth day using it, it was totally dead. Would not turn on! Did all the troubleshooting, tried in different outlets, etc., but to no avail. I have just packed it up to be given to USPS later today. Awful

I ordered 2 last year and they are great, this one died in December. It will not turn on.

I returned the air filter. I let it run for 7 days 24 hours a day. I found no difference and the filter was still clean. I saw no reason to keep it. Maybe it works for other people but not me.

This machine doesn't do anything but make a lot of noise. It does not eliminate the The odors in the house. So I doubt that it is eliminating and purifying the air. Do not waste your money on this product. I will be returning my I Purchased 2 of them.

smoked 1/2 cigarette 12" from unit on table. OMG had to open window & put small fan in as I had been using since old different brand unit broke. The air coming out the top smelled like smoke. Yeah, they simulate smoke in their lil chamber. Tried on kitchen counter 2' from stove while prepping fish. Next day smelled the smoke strong in the 10/12 tv room & still smelled fish in kitchen. I have 4 air purifiers (different brands)in different rooms. This one the worst. Returning

Does not remove any odors. So i doubt that it works at removing anything else in the air. Wish i had tried it before the 30 days return window. Stuck with a useless expensive junk. Its going to the trash.

Its not quite, quite loud. I dont think its actually doing anything I dont notice a change in my air at all. It has levels for fan speed- the higher you go up on a speed the louder the fan gets. At times the machine is wobbly. I do feel this was a bad purchase though I had hoped it would work. I have no animals and I dont smoke. Perhaps I have a defective machine. With HSNs return policy you dont know its not working till its passed the time of return.

Hello: I was excited to received the two Hunter air purifiers. First one in my bedroom..2nd one in Great room. After 30 minutes of running I had a bad re-action. My eye's swelled up to slits and my breathing was labored. Plus my house smelled weird. Not what you'd think of clean air would smell. Urgent care- I'm allergic to either the hepa filter or the eco it's self. Brought out my older no filter Honeywell purifier to remove smell in my house. BE careful if you do have allergies --Slb

Didn't even turn on

When I plugged this unit in I realized I was sneezing MORE, went from none to a couple times a day. Because my bedroom furniture is black I noticed after I dusted the unit actually stirs up/disturbs so much dust, but is under power and cannot draw it to it so leaves it up higher all over furniture. The disturbed and left dust is evident on the dark durbiture and needed dusting badly in just 4 days!!

Beware of this system. Just putting a Hepa filter on a fan does not make it an air purifying system. There are no seals on the filter which can allow contaminates to bypass the filter. A true air purifier will seal the Hepa filter to make sure no contaminates by pass filter. Appears to be an overpriced fan. Very unhappy with my purchase and now have to pay for return shipping for an item that does not operate as stated. Purchased as a gift for my husband and hes not happy.

What the? Didn't include instruction manual with product which I am suppose to receive. I don't have a printer. I spoke to HSN supervisor and I was told Hunter inc. would send me one. I was blown off by both companies. No pride in product control. I will send back unless I receive a manual.

can not buy filters anywhere for this air purifier works great gut is know good to me if i cant buy filters,not happy

Love the product can not get the refill for the filter anywhere and I am in need of them to continue using what good if I cant get the refills aggggg

I was hoping this wouldn't be loud and it certainly isnt. On the highest speed it isn't loud, but I keep it on medium speed which is even more quiet. The air actually smells fresher in my family room. I haven't had it long so I'll see how it cuts down on the dust particles on my tables as I was told it would by Hunter. So far very pleased!
