Not so good, (RETARMY1 WI)04/23/2018
I love Andrew but I do not care for this cookbook at all. Totally written for west coast people and Seattle. Many of the recipes required items I never heard of. I am a healthy eater, no sugars, bread, etc. Eat only chicken for meat. Smoothies every day with a salad. Sorry I will donate to the VA.

The recipes were okay. I am giving the books to a tag sale.

Not for me, (dljc NC)07/20/2017
I am not impressed with this cookbook. It is a nice looking and well presented book but I just don't like the recipes. Most of the main dish are chicken and I am allergic to chicken. Can I get my husband to eat spaghetti squash as a main course? No.The recipes are somewhat complicated with ingredients I don't usually have on hand.

Not so much..., (Roxie153 MI)03/24/2016
I believe I own all of Muriel / Andrew cookbooks and I am still evaluating them but to date this is what I have found:I love that the nutritionql information is included!I love the way the recipes are presented and all of the lovely pictures. Beyond that however, I don't find them of much interest to me as they call for too many ingredients that cannot be easily found in my local grocery store (and mine is a one of the largest Super Stores in this area) and some of the spices / non wheat flours/ etc., are very expensive to purchase when you can find them. Some items can only be found via mail order etc. May be okay for folks who have lots of time to shop and money to spend on ingredients they would not normally buy or have in their cabinets.
