NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. ELIGIBILITY: The “HSN Refer-A-Friend Program” Feb/Mar 2012 Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open to residents of the 50 United States and D.C., 18 years of age and older as of February 21, 2012, except for employees of HSNi, LLC, Route 15 Media LLC, their affiliates, subsidiaries and agencies (collectively “Promotion Parties”), and members of their immediate family or persons living in the same household. Void where prohibited.
2. HOW TO ENTER: Beginning February 21, 2012 through March 21, 2012, refer one of your friends and automatically receive one entry into the Sweepstakes when that friend makes a purchase on hsn.com. To be eligible to receive entries you must first complete one of the following three steps: 1) hsn.com and click on a promotional banner; 2) Click on a promotional banner in an HSN email that you may have received; or 3) visit hsn.com/referafriend and follow the instructions. Your friend(s) will then be sent an email containing a special offer that can be used on hsn.com to make a purchase. You may only provide the email address of your friends that consent to receive emails from hsn.com or who have not already opted out of receiving emails from HSN. The referral emails (e.g. “friends”) have 3 days after the Sweepstakes end date to complete the purchase process and qualify you for a sweepstakes entry. There is no minimum purchase requirement and your friend does not have to redeem any provided coupon/special offer to constitute an eligible transaction. When your friend completes a purchase as a result of your referral, you are automatically entered into the sweepstakes. You will get one (1) entry for every friend that completes a purchase using the above method. HOW TO ENTER FOR FREE WITHOUT A REFERRAL: You can also enter without referring a friend by completing the following online registration form http://98.129.189.36/HSN/DailyDrawing.html. There is no limit to the number of friends you refer or the number of non-refer entries.
3.PRIZES AND ODDS: ONE (1) Grand Prizes: Starting on February 21, 2012 and going through March 21, 2012, one random drawing from all eligible entries will be conducted to determine the winner. The winner will receive a one thousand dollar ($1,000) HSN Gift Card. Terms and conditions of Issuer Gift Card apply. Total approximate value of all prizes is $1,000. Limit one prize per person and/or household for the Sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend upon number of eligible entries received when the drawing occurs. No substitutions or transfers of prizes permitted by winner. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. Potential winner will be notified by email and/or express mail and will be required to complete, sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and, except where prohibited, a Publicity Release. If the potential winner does not respond to a winner notification within 5 business days, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Cancelled orders in which a gift card was applied will result in the Gift Card amount credited the customer's Spendable Kash account. Do not reuse Gift Card numbers on subsequent orders. Gift Card cannot be returned or refunded nor can it be transferred to another individual. Gift Card may not be redeemed in cash except in certain states where allowable by law. Gift Card cannot be used to purchase alcohol or another gift card, and may not be combined with any other offer. In the event that there are no qualified entries from which to conduct the random drawing, that daily prize will not be awarded. .
4.GENERAL RULES: All income taxes resulting from acceptance of prize are the responsibility of the winners. If any prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or in the event of non-compliance with any other requirements, the prize will be forfeited in its entirety and an alternate winner may or may not be selected. By participating, entrants accept and agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor and Route 15 Media, which are final and binding. By accepting prizes, winners agree to hold Promotion Parties, their affiliates, directors, officers, employees and assigns harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of use or redemption of prize. Acceptance also constitutes permission to the Promotion Parties to use winners’ names, likenesses (and biographical information) for marketing purposes without further compensation or right of approval, unless prohibited by law. The email address of a “friend” will not be used for any purpose other than the execution of this Sweepstakes. Promotion Parties are not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, lost or unavailable network, wireless service, cellular tower or other connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Sweepstakes, or by any human error which may occur in the programming of this Sweepstakes. If due to a computer programming or other error, more prizes are claimed than intended to be awarded according to Rule 3, prizes will be awarded in a random drawing from among all prize claims received by that day’s drawing. In no event will Sponsor be liable for more than the stated number of prizes in these rules. If, in Sponsor and Route 15 Media’s opinion, there is any suspected evidence of tampering with any portion of the Sweepstakes, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Sweepstakes, the Judges reserve the right to modify or terminate the Sweepstakes in a manner deemed reasonable by the Judges, at the Judges’ sole discretion. In the event a dispute arises as to the identity of a potentially winning entrant, entry will be deemed made by the name appearing on the online entry form. All federal and state laws apply.
5.WAIVER:By entering this Sweepstakes, participants waive all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages, attorneys' fees or any damages other than actual out-of-pocket costs incurred to enter.
6.WINNERS' LIST: For the name of the prize winner, available after April 1, 2012, send a self-addressed, stamped (#10) envelope to: HSN Refer-A-Friend Feb/Mar2012 Program Winners – 15 Bushy Ridge Rd, Westport, CT, 06880, USA. Requests must be received by May 30, 2012.
