What You Get
surprising worth it
Received it yesterday and it was easy to assemble. Only con is it gets loud after 15 minutes and the back steppers hit the frame going down. I just put a pillow between the pedal and the frame. It really gives me a good workout. Love itMelissaMae9, NVWas this review helpful? 13 out of 14 found this review helpful
I purchased this based on the fact that I have limited room in my apartment. The hydraulic cylinders on my old mini stepper were worn out. I could not find replacement parts for it, so I needed a new stepper. I found this spacesaver stepper on HSN and this is exactly what I was looking for. The Stamina SpaceMate folds down flat, which means I can store it under a bed or table and I can adjust the resistence of the cylinders. For me and the price, this stepper is absolutely perfect.POLU43, NJWas this review helpful? 17 out of 18 found this review helpful

Ok for the price.
I ordered this machine because I have M.S. and my Physical therapist suggested I get a stepper to work on my leg strength at home. I brought this one because of the price and also because it supposedly folded up to save space. While, I don't live in an apartment, my home has limited space and I don't like it to look cluttered. Upon receiving the product, it was easy enough to assemble. However, I cannot figure out how to fold it back down to store it. For that reason, it sits in my living room. I will probably just give it away.Missy116, WVWas this review helpful? 7 out of 10 found this review helpful
I just now finished assembly on this, and I have to say that the it was super easy, aside from the foam handlebar cushions. The liquid soap that the instruction manual suggests does not work, so don't even bother. Apply WD-40 to the insides of the foam cushions and the bars themselves, and make it easy on yourself from the get go.Assembly was going well until...dum---dum---dum--- the end. That's when I noticed an extra part just lying there. It was the wheel that attaches to the frame to ease movement of the stepper when it's in it's folded state. It should be securely welded to the frame. It was not. I was assembling on a soft, carpeted floor and had not even attempted to "roll" the unit yet. Upon looking at the instructions and figuring out where exactly the wheel is supposed to be, I saw the three tiny welding spots that were to adhere the wheel's frame to the unit, but only one of those spots were actually adhered to both the wheel frame and the unit.
