For each denomination, you receive an uncirculated Philadelphia Mint coin, an uncirculated Denver Mint coin, a gold-layered Philadelphia coin, a gold-layered Denver coin, and one coin enhanced with a dramatic ruthenium finish. Issued for one year only, the 2026 Enduring Liberty Half Dollar replaces the traditional Kennedy design with imagery celebrating Liberty and the nation’s 250th anniversary.
Obverse: Features a dramatic close-up view of the Statue of Liberty. Her steadfast gaze looks outward toward the future, emphasizing the enduring ideals of freedom and liberty. Inscriptions include “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and the special dual date “1776–2026.”
Reverse: Features Liberty passing her torch to a new generation, with the flame trailing behind it to suggest movement and purpose. The imagery symbolizes the responsibility of each generation to preserve and carry forward the ideals of liberty. Inscriptions include “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” “HALF DOLLAR,” and “KNOWLEDGE IS THE ONLY GUARDIAN OF TRUE LIBERTY.”2026 Emerging Liberty Dime
The 2026 Emerging Liberty Dime is a special one-year-only design and marks the first appearance of Liberty on the obverse of the dime since 1945.
Obverse: Features a determined image of Liberty as the winds of revolution flow through her hair. She wears a liberty cap decorated with stars and stripes, symbolizing the emerging American nation while also recalling imagery found on early American coinage. Inscriptions include “LIBERTY,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and the special dual date “1776–2026.”
Reverse: Features an eagle in flight carrying arrows in its talons, representing the American Revolution and the colonists’ fight for independence. Inscriptions include “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” “ONE DIME,” and the powerful phrase “LIBERTY OVER TYRANNY.”Special Finishes
Along with the original Philadelphia and Denver uncirculated examples, the set includes gold-layered versions of both the Philadelphia and Denver coins for each denomination. The gold layering gives the historic 2026 designs a striking alternative appearance while allowing the sculptural details of each design to remain visible.
