Jean Dousset 11.7ctw Absolute™ Oval Simulated Amethyst Ring

I had to return this most beautiful ring. It runs small but is very smooth on the finger. I had to return because HSN no longer had the larger size.

I had gotten other designs from same designer, he is excellent designer, and pieces he made are delicate and beautiful

This ring is so gorgeous. It really catches the light and it has a ton of sparkle. The black rhodium really adds a special touch, making the stones themselves stand out. Definitely another winner from M. Dousset!

This is the first Jean Dousset ring I have ever purchased, but am sure I will be back for more. I have a real african amethyst ring and the stones in this ring are just as beautiful as the real deal. It certainly is a conversation piece because everyone's eye is drawn to that ring when I'm wearing it. Keep up the good work Jean Dousset because I definitely will be back for more!!

I had been looking at this ring for quite some time and finally made the leap. I am so very glad that I did. My birthstone is amethyst and I knew that the stone would look different since it's cubic zirconia. When I received the ring yesterday, I was amazed at it's beauty. Another reviewer mentioned that she thought it had an iridescent finish but, it is just the flash of colors from the Absolute stones. And, these flashes of color are amazing and mesmerizing. I wasn't sure that I would like the dark rhodium finish but, with the purple Absolute stones, the contrast is striking. I have had so many compliments on this ring and I haven't had it a full 24 hours yet. The ring is a good size but I don't find it uncomfortable to wear as some have mentioned. This ring has the look of some of my grandmother's pieces of jewelry that I used to covet as a child. I love this ring and I'm sure I will wear it for many years to come. Thank, Jean, for a stunning ring!!!

I liked everything about this ring. Get compliments every time I wear it. One lady asked me if it was La Vian.

Magnificent sparkle, setting & color. Fit runs a bit large. I wear a 5.5 on Right ring finger. Always have to order a size 6. This 6 seems a bit looser than others. Bought as a holiday gift for a dear friend. Hope she likes it.

and it looks like genuine amethyst except it ISN'T genuine amethyst and so shouldn't cost as much. It's a beautiful ring w/quality synthetic stones and is well made but I object to the price.

Looked prettier on tele. Sent back. Like Joan Boyce and Akkad better so far.

I was hoping that Absolute amethysts would look "alive'. But, while I like a high polish on stones, the iridescent finish is NOT what I was looking for. And, finally, don't the folks who design rings WEAR them? ONLY a model's hand will not be effected by that wide wide wide shank. Ugh.
