As you push, the mechanism rotates the three stainless steel blades inside the container. The more you push, the finer the ingredients are chopped. It's a must for chopping onions, garlic, carrots and mushrooms. For coarse cuts, push only a few times. For finer cuts, push approximately ten times. Chop nuts, boiled eggs, chilies, peppers, meat, and breadcrumbs in seconds. And you can make your own dips, salsas, chopped salads, sauces and desserts, simply and quickly. The mixer/peeler paddle is easy to insert for fast and powerful mixing and whipping; it's also great for peeling garlic cloves. The airtight storage lid lets you store your freshly chopped ingredients in the fridge until you need them. Twist and lock the pusher into place to store compactly. Cleanup is easy; just toss it in the dishwasher.
