 The Improvements Large Capacity Ice Maker makes nugget ice (aka "pellet ice") that's perfect for entertaining. Why? It's light and airy to chew on, doesn't melt fast, and it's great for smoothies, sodas, iced tea and blended cocktails. It can make up to 33 lbs. of ice a day, cycling up within minutes after you activate it. And it even recycles melted ice to make more fresh. Includes a removable basket, with a scoop that attaches to the outside of the maker, so it's always handy when you're ready to serve.

Good to Know
  • The ice maker has the ability to make 33 lbs. of ice over a 24-hour period when used in an optimum environment of approx. 70 degrees F, and with cool water at a temperature of approx. 34 degrees F.
  • First batch of ice takes approx. 6-10 minutes to form and release from the maker; then is produced regularly in approx. 1" nuggets.
  • Integrated cleaning function runs for approx. 3 minutes.
