I have owned many Rowenta irons and this is the best brand. It may be heavy however it presses all clothes within little time with the appropriate steam settings. It's a keeper. Thank you, HSN.

My old Rowenta was much heavier than this. This takes a little more time on things.

The iron doesn't produce much steam by itself unless the steam lever is turned to the maximum setting along with the temperature knob. It's not consistent and you have to force steam from it by continuing to press the steam lever. Also, my last Rowenta was made in Germany and this one was made in China. Maybe that's the big difference.
