Incorrect item twice
Item does get hot on the outside and so you have to be extra careful. There is not any memory temperature option on it. No auto shut off option. The iron itself does a good job but if these features matter to you then I wouldn't purchase. HSN sent the wrong size twice tho. I need a 1.25" but this item will come to you as a 1" item. Just note that. HSN hasn't changed this online yet altho I have advised them it's wrong. The Babyliss box makes that confusing but it's a 1" iron.

Not product advertised
Ordered this item because the HSN website said it was the 1.25 model, but I received the 1 model. Also, the flat does not perform as I would expect a $180 flat iron to perform. Plates did not meet sufficiently enough to hold hair in place when curling. Definite disappointment

Works well
My daughter and I have thick 4c hair and it worked well on both of us. By far, the best flat iron I have owned and I have had some good brands. For the money, it should have come with a bag or case, a glove because this gets hot and there is not a lot of wiggle room for slips to cause a hand burn. A nice table rest would have been good to include. Think about the accessories if it alla nice touch to help use this and warranted for the money.

Dyson air strait
Love this product. I used it for the first time today on dry hair and it worked better than my flat iron. It smoothed my hair but also gave it some body. No helmet head here! Next I am going to try it on wet hair. Im sure I will have great results with that too. Got to love Dyson products!

Electronics not working
It was stuck in airplane mode with battery in . Make sure you read how it should work an watch utube videos before the 30 day return policy. I have Dyson air wrap bought from Sephora an no problem.
