Good to Know
  • Do not use your pizza oven on plastic or glass tables.
  • The oven can be used on the following surfaces: stainless steel, wood, marble, concrete, or stone.
  • Ensure that the surface is level and stable.
  • The Wolfgang Puck pizza oven is for outdoor use only.
  • The oven should only be used when at least 3 feet away from structures.
  • We also recommend that you use it in an outdoor space that is sheltered from wind.
  • Do not use your pizza oven on high wind days.
  • Always wear oven mitts or heat resistant gloves when adding or removing food, or when adding pellets to the pellet chute.
  • Due to the high cooking temperature of this oven, only use the included pizza stone, or raw cast iron cooking vessels.
  • Never use nonstick coated cooking vessels inside this oven.
  • CLEANING THE PIZZA STONE:
  • After the stone has completely cooled, we recommend using a wire bristle brush to scrape the smooth side of the pizza stone clean to remove excess food debris. 
  • It is normal for the smooth side of the pizza stone to become stained after repeated use. 
  • Never use water to clean the smooth side of the pizza stone or place the stone in a dishwasher. 
  • The pizza stone will absorb water and could crack when exposed to high heat.
  • The coated ridged side of the pizza stone can be cleaned with a damp cloth and dried thoroughly.

    Love it

    We are having fun with this oven, and the pizza is delicious! There is a learning curve, so were glad we didnt invite company for the first go around. Thanks, Wolfgang and Crew! Were so happy we purchased along with pellets.

    My husband cooked 2 good pizzas!

    We watched Wolfgang Puck video, read the cookbook info and the pizza recipes. To keep the flame lit, my hubby figured out to add 1/2 cup of pellets and lifted the pellet cover slightly open and blew into it gently to get the fire going again. He did babysit the fire. We let it heat up for about 20 minutes with door closed. Saw the big flames inside. Added the pizza for 2-3 minutes, he pulled and turned pizza and it cooked another 2-3 minutes. Done! Yay! Second pizza just as easy. Yay! Lucky!

    Great oven, but there is a learning curve.

    Put the pullet tray on a safe surface light the pellets in tray. Leave outside to allow the pellets to catch fire and get hot, 3 or 4 minutes. Once they are hot, put tray in the oven and open vent over tray. Wait a minute, and then close the vent. Every 3 or 4 minutes, add like a cup of pellets, and open vent for a minute, then close vent. Takes about 15 minutes to get hot. Pizza cooks in 4 to 7 minutes. After you cook one pizza, wait 15 minutes to allow the pizza stone to get hot again.

    Great pizza oven

    This is a great little pizza oven but I would recommend anyone not familiar with the process of wood fired pizza to watch some videos and practicedont give up! Its all in the technique..including keeping an eye on the fire so it doesnt burn out. Im still learning so I look forward to making some more pizzas this weekend!
