  • I Have Joined the Modern Age

How in the world have I lived without this beast?? I am coming from a Netgear N600 that disconnected every time the wind blew. Connection was slower than a slug carrying a Winnebago. Couldn't keep wifi devices connected. It just got aweful, so I splurged. What can I say? FAST FAST FAST. Full wifi all over my house now, not one device disconnect. Also upgraded all my Ethernet cables to Cat6 to take advantage of the increased speeds. My Xbox One went from download speeds of 32mbps to a consistent 295 to 305 Mbps. Yes please. My Apple TV just flat doesn't buffer anymore at all. If you want to increase your speed, this is the router to buy. Super easy setup, super easy interface with the router. I have joined the modern age.

  • Yup, this is a good buy

I replaced a 10 year old router. I am a senior senior and I had no problems setting this new Tp Link AC5400 up and running in a few minutes. I first went to youtube and wached all the set up videos, BUT that was more confusing than a help. TMI. I just used the 5 step instructions on the sheet of instructions in thebox. 8 minutes max.. I have tvs laptops, tablets, and ereaders all running off this router. It is fast and no waiting time while things load. I had been blaming my server for slowing things down. Nope, it was my old router. This seemed like a lot of bucks, but we'll worth it.
