1986 Statue of Liberty Commemorative Silver Dollar
  • Issued in 1986 to celebrate the centennial of the Statue of Liberty 
  • Highly successful program with millions of silver dollars and half dollars sold and a complete sellout of the maximum mintage of gold coins 
  • Surcharges raised by the program were used to fund much-needed restoration work on the Statue   
  • Obverse depicts the Statue of Liberty with Ellis Island in the background; Inscriptions include "Liberty", "Ellis Island", "Gateway to America", "In God We Trust", and the date.
  • Reverse depicts Liberty's torch; Inscriptions include "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free", "E Pluribus Unum" and "One Dollar".
 
1986 Statue of Liberty Commemorative Clad Half Dollar
  • Issued in 1986 to celebrate the centennial of the Statue of Liberty

1987 U.S. Constitution Bicentennial Commemorative Silver Dollar
  • Issued in 1987 to honor 200th anniversary of the U.S. Constitution. It shows our nation's most important document on one side and a gathering of Americans from different time periods on the other. 
  • Obverse depicts a quill pen, a sheaf of parchment. Inscriptions include "We The People" "The U.S. Constitution 200th Anniversary", "In God We Trust", "1787", "Liberty" and "1987"
  • Reverse depicts a cross-section of Americans from various periods representing contrasting lifestyles. Inscriptions include "E Pluribus Unum", "1 Dollar" and "United States of America".
 
1990 Eisenhower Centennial Commemorative Silver Dollar
  • Issued in 1990 to mark the centennial of the birth of Dwight D. Eisenhower on October 14, 1890 
  • Coin's dual-portrait obverse symbolizes both his military service and peacetime leadership 
  • Only U.S. coin to feature two portraits of the same person on the same side of one coin  
  • Obverse features a right-facing portrait of an older Eisenhower superimposed over a left facing view of a younger Eisenhower wearing five stars. Inscriptions include "Eisenhower Centennial," "Liberty," "In God We Trust," and "1890–1990".
  • Reverse depicts Eisenhower's retirement home in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, which is now part of a national historic site. Inscriptions include "United States of America," "Eisenhower Home," "E Pluribus Unum," and "One Dollar".

    These three Prestige Mint Sets arrived very quickly, and were very well packaged to prevent any damage in shipping.All of the sets had the original mint packaging and information. One of them even had the original invoice of the original purchaser.

    I liked the 1986 and 1987 prestige proof sets. On the 1990 Prestige Proof set, the cover was pulling away from the coin display. I decided to repair it myself.
