Strathmore 400 Series Bristol Pads 11 in. x 14 in. Vellum
Both intermediate and professional artists recommend the 400 Series Bristol as a versatile drawing surface when the longevity of cotton fibers is not required. Bristol pads offer 2-ply thickness for a strong paper in your choice of either a vellum or smooth surface. The toothy texture of the medium (vellum) surface works well with pencil, colored pencil, charcoal, and pastel. The smooth surface option is ideal for detailed pen and ink work and is also suited for pencil, colored pencil, and marker. Both surfaces are excellent for airbrushing. The tape-bound pads allow sheets to be easily removed and maintain smooth, straight edges.
