I have this in the Cherry color, it's beautiful.I have used it three times in the past two weeks.I researched this and the LC line for the last two years and waited until I could find a store which carried it and I could touch it in person.Yea!!!!HSN had it on sale and free shipping, can't ask for more!It is heavy and it's lighter than the LC in the same size.I like the black mat finish, and the cherry color it is almost on ombre, very subtle. Mine came with a book and in it it says to wash in soapy warm water, dry thoroughly and apply a vegetable oil and warm or heat it up slowly, low heat. I applied olive oil to the insde of the pan and on the underside of the dimpled lid. After it warmed I wiped the excess oil off. Before using I applied more olive oil to the pan and lid. I made a roast in it. This washed up beautifully, no white marks no rust. I used olive wood spoons and forks to cook with, they don't mark the pans.the four quart is the right size for me, there are only two of to

  • Really like this pot, but a little heavy

I really like this pot. I've used it for chili and a 1 pot chicken casserole and it performed great. It's a little heavy, but that's the cast iron and you have to expect that. It cleans up great. It's not too big, also.

I ordered this because I wanted a smaller pot and this is just the right size. I love the color, shape and convenience of this pot.
