Difficult Assembling, But Worth It
Be prepared to spend time away from the assembly instructions, and figuring things out on your own. First, place hardware on a flat surface such as a table or workbench. None of the nuts, bolts, or washers are labeled, so you'll need separate them by size and category. According to the instructions, some of the hardware pieces are showing them being placed in the incorrect holes. I don't remember which goes where. Besides, my revised instruction would be too long to explain. Use extreme patients and a few hours to put this together. After it is assembled, you'll agree that it was worth the hours spent on doing it correctly. Be sure to use a ratchet wrench side-by-side with an adjustable wrench. I weigh 190 lbs and the Stamina 1700 is pretty stable with all the various exercises I have done so far. Highly recommended!CAWOODIE, ME
Great addition to the home gym!
This piece is great. I researched several power towers and this seemed to be the sturdiest. I was right. The metal on this is very thick, we have no concerns about it tipping. It is very tall, towering at over 6ft in case you put this somewhere that doesn't have a tall ceiling. This does make it difficult, for me, at 5'4" to do any pull ups, but I use it for legs mostly. I wish the sit up bar was a little lower, it is touch for kids with little feet to keep their feet from sliding out. The push up handles are the perfect length. There are a lot of things I physically can't do on this unit but I hope to one day. My boyfriend gets a great workout on it though. This is a good addition to your home gym but you have to be strong to use it. I think this took about 45 minutes to put together. It's overwhelming when you open the box and pull out all the pieces, but it's not too bad in the end. No issues with pieces or screws not lining. You can get this a little cheaper else wherdee1742, IL
Excellent way to strengthen and tone
I am happy with this purchase! My hubby and I wanted something to work our abs and strengthen our muscles using our own body weight..this works great and it's very sturdy. It was easy to put together. It is tall to accommodate taller people and it is a large piece of equipment. Built to last!Jennygonecrazy, FL
