this is a pretty carafe but i agree with others. the top should be able to sit flat on a table

Great pitcher

I've looked at these before at other places and they were either not as nice or way more expensive. I like that the glass rests on top of the pitcher so there's one less thing on my nightstand & I don't have to be bothered with a separate stopper for the bottle. I don't find a need to rest the glass on the nightstand because for me, it's important to have it covering the pitcher, since my fan runs all night & tends to blow dust into the water glass I was using.

I'd make changes

Like another customer, I wish the bottom of the drinking cup was flat. It's natural to want to set it down. I would also make the entire unit about a third of the size. It's too large for the average nightstand. I don't find it cheap and like it, but a few changes would make it more excellent.
