  • NO Instructions

Maybe it is obvious to some how to make bias tape. Or maybe I'm just not as smart as I thought. I have been sewing for 50+ years and I can't figure this out. How wide do I cut the bias strips for the 1/4", 1/2" or 1"????? Seems like a 1" strip would make a 1/2" piece of bias. Can't get the thing to work!!!

I got these and was disappointed no instructions. So still sitting in box in drawer until I figure out how to use them. I figure great can make bias tape myself instead of buying it in the stores. Big disappointment
