  • Great unit

I've been using induction units for some time and decided to purchase the Simply Ming units when I watched the demo because they have a larger heating surface than my older units. I use these more than my gas cook-top because I like the control and consistency of the heat. Great product.

  • Love the Power and the Programs

I bought this product previously as a NuWave unit. I am certain they are made the same way. What I especially like is the 5 degree increments. It allows me to simmer things perfectly. I had a Fagor unit in the past that I was not able to contron the heat so closely and I can tell you, it means everything. Also I like the Sear function which not only quickly seals meat but also boils water quickly. I am still using my NuWave but bought this as a backup for when I want two burners and or when my 3 year old NuWave decides to quit.

  • Convenient

I purchased one to try it out and notice how fast it heats up, holds it heats setting, a large cooking top, easy to clean, and very portable with many different settings so I decide to purchase one more.

  • You've GOT to get one!

Amazing how some are taking temperature to a whole new level. This, like any stove, has a learning curve. Every chef I see on TV "adjusts" the flame when using gas and using an electric burner is the same. You have to get a feel for what you're using and this is no different. I have a BergHoff induction burner and am using Ming's and I see little difference. I have to adjust both to what I want, but measure exactly with a thermometer (I just don't have the time). Sorry, I'm no chef. If your in the percentage of people who cook (just to eat) you'll LOVE this item. Easy to clean, easy to use, no worry of fires and your electric bill doesn't go through the roof and SAFETY is MUCH better than either gas or electric. I grew up with gas and moved to a place with no gas and went all electric (don't like it)! So, these two babies cover my stove and I'm cooking more than I ever have. You go, Ming! Xie'xie' (which is as close to saying thank you as I can get)!
