Perfect for me

I have purchased several pieces of Samantha's luggage over the years and have always been pleased. I have a couple of croco embossed sets but when traveling to remote areas like animal reserves in Africa, hard sided luggage is not allowed. Therefore, I purchased this 26' upright and could not be happier. I should have purchased the 22' in green but hesitated and then it quickly sold out.

On the first trip!

We all know Samantha's ability to design a well organized piece of luggage, but I feel this piece could have used more attention to quality. On it's first trip, both snaps on the front flap were torn off, fortunately, nothing was being stored in the outside pockets. Also the handle was wobbly as if the metal used wasn't strong enough and I was afraid it would bend or break.

Disappointed

This worked fine on a recent trip but it needs improvement. The front large pocket does not expand at all (should). Samantha said her laptop goes there. Don't have a laptop & if I did would not be traveling with it. Take phone or tablet in purse. The interior divided large pocket (for shoes) doesnt fit much. My husband wears size 13 shoes. Could hardly fit one in each pocket. Wanted to fit a large brimmed sun hat in there but again couldn't. Samantha designs for HER needs not mine.

Outside flap HORRIBLE!

I'm giving this suitcase 2 stars because I like everything about it except the outside pocket flap with snaps. One of the snaps broke after my first airline trip and now I can't batten the flap down. Another zipper for the flap instead of snaps would have been so much better! If I use duck tape to fasten down the flap, then the outside zipper pocket becomes completely unusable, in addition to my suitcase looking really tacky. I'm so disappointed and sorry I purchased this 26" spinner.
