Features

100 Years Collection, 1950 through 1990
  • Celebrates over a century of outstanding design, floral heritage and tea drinking
  • Mix and match with other decades for a fusion of modern-day romanticism and old-school nostalgia
  • 5 decades to choose from, each with hand-painted 22k gold accents

Festival, 1950
  • Inspired byatomic structures, 'spiky' architecture and crystals; these elements are reflected in this design
  • Harebells, dandelion seed-heads and ferns are delicately drawn to emphasize the natural shape of each form and are grouped into a single floral spray that dominates the pattern, finished with a vivid blue border

Golden Roses, 1960
  • Draws inspiration from the iconic Old Country Roses desigend by Harold Holdcroft in 1962 — one of Royal Albert's most enduring patterns
  • In celebratory style, rose sprays have been recreated in luxurious gold and matched with a warm pink background to symbolise the rich red tones of the original design

Poppy, 1970
  • By the beginning of the 1970s, softer tones and more romantic and feminine styles re-emerged in fashion and interior design
  • A natural interpretation of the ever popular flower in bright coral and yellow with its detail of trailing foliage, brings to mind fields of poppies blowing softly in the wind

Rose Blush, 1980
  • The iconic rose flower takes centre stage with an all-over design featuring a full bloom and single bud
  • The soft styling of the flowers on a pastel pink and cream ground also reflects the era's more subtle interior design trends, and recalls the chintz patterns popular in earlier decades

Bouquet, 1990
  • Reflects Royal Albert's floral, romantic and luxurious traditions and features elegant poises containing favourite Royal Albert flowers and gold accents
  • As well as pink roses, the bouquet includes dainty blue forget-me-nots and purple anemones, and a warm honeysuckle yellow has been chosen for the wide border

Royal Albert heritage
  • Recognizable, global brand
  • Reflects traditional shapes with contemporary color palettes
  • Classic style that transcends trends

Royal Albert

Recognized worldwide for its excellence, quality and craftsmanship, Royal Doulton offers you the finest in tableware, serveware and collectables. Royal Albert gives you the unmistakably English character of Old Country Roses, while Lady Carlyle channels 18th Century Rococo with its brocade fabric-inspired flowers and foliage. Each piece of lightweight, durable tableware has distinct Royal Doulton elements, like 22K gold trim accents that complement the rich, bold hues and soft, delicate tones of England’s traditional floral patterns.
