STUNNER and BIG WINNER from C. BRODIE!
I was hesitant because I liked the style and SIZE of Rarities' other Ametrine ring, #578-471 better, but ALL its Black Rhodium turned me off. THIS IS MORE BEAUTIFUL than online. The cut on the Ametrine's pavilion really gives it FLAIR, and makes the 2 tones flash. The Purple Rhodolites have good colour saturation and zircons are BRIGHT! The ring runs SLIGHTLY large. I usually wear 10, but since sizing only went up to 9, I went down, and the 9 is a comfy fit even on my right hand! RECOMMENDED!bully2, HIWas this review helpful? 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Carol has done it again! This is the most stunning cut of a gemstone that I have seen in a while. Absolutely obsessed!!!!disappointed0313, PAWas this review helpful? 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
ON THE FENCE
This is a Rarities, so expect it to be beautifully made. The reason for only 3 stars is because the stone is not as what you'd like your ametrine to be. You have to look hard to see which side is amethyst and citrine. The colors are faint, washed out. The ametrine is supposed to be the center of attraction but it's not. If you want it, get it for the price and design.Geline833, CAWas this review helpful? 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
Wheres the citrine ?!
I was expecting possibly a pale ametrine according to one review but - wheres the citrine in the supposedly bi-color ring?! What I received was a pale amethyst similar to rose de France which is not this ring claims to be. If you look really hard theres a hint of pale yellow that disappears as soon as you thought you found it ! Very disappointing, and not worth the original price tag or discounted for that matter. Its probably going to make the round of returns until drastic price cut?michimoco, HIWas this review helpful? 0 out of 0 found this review helpful
I am very disappointed. The stone was such poor quality that I labeled it as a amethyst when I returned it instead of an Ametrine! This is the second time Ive had to return a Rarities item due to poor quality.BeccaBec, FLWas this review helpful? 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
