Neckglasses "Karen" 30" Cross Drop Necklace Reader
Interior designer Karen Ganovsky grew tired of losing her reading glasses and needed a solution to keeping them handy. She knew she wanted something hanging around her neck in order to keep them in place, but didn’t want “granny” glasses hanging from a string. Along with Dianna Seddon, the duo developed Neckglasses – reading glasses disguised as elegant jewelry for the active, fashionable woman. These readers can be worn as a piece of jewelry and no one will know they are readers until they are used. Problem solved in a chic way for the modern woman.

Ok ladies (and gents) here's the "skinny" on these Neckglasses.....I have read all the reviews, and I really feel bad for the ones who lost theirs, but a simple closure of the "bail" on top would have prevented that. The bail opens and closes so you can remove it from the chain in case you want to put it on another chain. I simply closed mine when it arrived, tugged on it a few times to be sure it was secure, and I have had no problems. If that bail is left open, then of course it will slide off. My friend has a pair she bought at a boutique in Miami and she paid double.... I was so excited to see these at half the price. I will probably buy more in other styles.suziequezie44, FLWas this review helpful? 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Book Club Loved them!
Bought these for myself and book club girls. Everyone was pleasantly surprised and loved them. All three designs were charming and easy to use. The charm was off on this style, but I slipped it right back on, no problem. For the $19 price I was not expecting high end jewelry, these are comparable to costume jewelry I buy for everyday wear. The strengths were on par with my regular readers. All in all, a nifty necklace.bookgal, NYWas this review helpful? 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Glasses on a chain
Love my new glasses on a chain, they are perfect for reading little and small things. They are great to have on a chain around your neck when you don't have your everyday glasses. They can really come in handy at the right time. The only reason I want give them a five stars is because they aren't prescription. Lost Reader the first day
While this item maybe convenient....and the chain is very durable.....the Reader clasp was not able to hold it to the chain. The first day I wore this Reader and reached to use it....the Reader had come apart from the chain and I was just left with the chain. The chain is very long. I didn't even feel that it was gone. Very disappointed.Lesson learned.truthful1, FLWas this review helpful? 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Great concept, but it needs improvement
Great concept, but, the glasses will not stay open and you need to hold them on your face with two hands. I ordered one in gold and silver and returned bothVCG1000, PAWas this review helpful? 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
