Overview & Details

Moss Mountain Farm 3-piece Coneflower Collection
Color your summer garden radiant with this magnificent coneflower collection. They come in an array of radiant hues that promise to delight guests and draw butterflies, songbirds and bees. Coneflowers pair nicely with Russian Sage, Stonecrop and Daylilies and love hot, sunny conditions. They do prefer average to dry soil and are drought-tolerant once well established. Their spent blooms offer a winter food source for foraging birds and they're resistant to meddling deer. Coneflowers for the win!

  • The soil where you plan to plant your coral bells should be worked into a good loose condition to a depth of 8" to 10"
  • Incorporate, in the hole, a mixture of compost, good garden soil, peat moss, sand or well-rotted manure (whatever is available for a good loose growing medium)
  • Remove plant from pot and plant level with soil. Your plant should not be placed deeper than where the foliage and root join.
  • Fill hole and firm the soil and water well. Make sure there are no air pockets.
  • Space plants 12" to 24" on each side
  • Cover with mulch to control weeds and retain moisture. Do not mound the mulch onto the stem.

Continuing care
  • Newly set plants need moisture so they can grow a new root system
  • Plants will rebloom without deadheading, however prompt removal of spent flowers improves general appearance

  • 2 of 3 plants are dead.

Only one of the three plants will survive (I think). HSN gave me the company name and I have to call them tomorrow. These plants are only guaranteed for 45 days from ordering.
