  • Great for the Adult Colorist

It has taken me a few years to find the right brand of marker that won't seep through coloring pages. Most do but Pitt or Faber-Castell don't seep through the pages underneath. I don't like using crayons and I get tired of colored pencils. Marker colors are usually more intense. You can also blend these colors. It takes some experimentation to get the right tone or shade you want but I like playing with color. The tips of these pens are fine artist tips instead of brush tips. If you want something that will cover a lot of space like a paint brush, Pitt also makes a brush pen in similar colors. Just make sure the pens are marked "B". I have lots of Micron Pigma color pens but these pens have a different feel to the barrell and the color are more muted. I have a set of pastel Pitt pens and they are so soft that they need to be applied in more than one layer to be seen. The blue/green pack stand out well and don't bleed through paper.
