    Lovely Flatware for GIANTS

I have been an HSN customer since the 80's and have been overall very pleased with the quality of the products offered here. Jewelery, housewares, shoes, tools, I've purchased from most all categories over the years. That being said, I was so disappointed with the Mikasa Gourmet Basics Flatware; not because of poor quality. It was beautiful, however, each piece was absolutely huge! When I first opened it, I thought the top pieces were the serving pieces, they were so big, they looked like a joke! I had ordered the flatware for my granddaughter, and her three little guys. Even the salad fork and teaspoon were bigger than my own flatware set (by a lot!). The disappointment is based on no mention in the product description that the flatware is "over-sized," and there was no easy return offered. Buyer beware! It cost $20 to send it back. Even the UPS ladies laughed and asked if these were for GIANTS!
