  • Well made & engaging

This word puzzle is great for my kindergarten classroom. The pieces are wooden, not cardboard, so, won't peel, bend, or get worn down by busy little fingers. Even kids who don't yet know the letter names or sounds, become familiar with them through manipulating the bright, engaging pieces. My only complaint, is that some words here are inappropriate for early learners. Anyone needing this puzzle, cannot sound out blends such as "sh" (fish) "ir" (bird) or "ar" (car). CVC words would be better.
