I purchased this for my nephew's birthday since he had just received confirmation of securing a very envious internship with Ernst And Young. He will not be graduating from the Univ. of Alabama until next year, but he will get plenty of use from this until that time when he goes out for that first big full time accounting job. As somebody who was a long time businessman myself prior to retiring several years ago, I had a good idea of what a briefcase / attaché really DOES get used's not always papers, books, and pens! Of course, when I was his age, there were no laptops, iPhones, iPads, MP3 players, etc. So. I was curious to see if I felt that they devoted TOO MUCH space to organizing those ubiquitous electronic gadgets. To me, a briefcase should not function solely as an expensive leather suitcase for your take-home should also serve as your mini-office. Prior to leaving the office, you should be able to grab your current work, toss it in, and know that

  • Good Case - Hard to Open

This is a beautiful case. The inside is beautiful and very good protection for your laptop, tablet or any other devices you might have. I am giving it 3 stars because I have a hard time getting my laptop in it. It doesn't open very wide on the top. The latch is also hard to open. Instead of opening the first time you try, it takes several attempts before it actually opens. The case is very good quality but I will be returning it.

  • Disapointed

The McKleinUSA Morgan 17" Leather Laptop Case looks great but the very first time I used it to carry my laptop, the metal loop that the canvas shoulder strap is sewn onto slipped off of the metal latch which connect the strap to the case rendering the strap useless. The female connection on the loop was simply too big for the male connector allowing it to be pulled through once any weight was applied.
