    Beautiful top, but not for California

    I bought the tank and the topper. I loved the pink/black combo, but they are just too heavy for California. I had to return because I just wouldn't get enough use to justify the price. Marla, lighter weight for us in warmer states please!

    The good and the bad

    This is a sweater. It doesnt drape, it clings and molds. If youre buxom or have even a tiny bit of tummy, its gonna add weight to those areas. The print is pretty but doesnt hide bumps, rolls or soft bulges. It does not flatter; it enhances and adds pounds. Even though its sleeveless and lightweight, its still too warm for California summers. The print and yellow/grey color is gorgeous. I sized up from my usual size L, and it was still too clingy.

    Not Flattering.

    Ordered the kimono and this tank in the neutral. This is a heavier piece more for fall/winter. The fabric is pretty but it's too heavy/thick, too long and unflattering if you carry any weight in your abdomen. While it's not tight, it would be much more flattering in an a-line. I also wish they would stop adding more length when you go up a size. The longer length looks more matronly. I also would prefer a sleeve since my arms are muscular. I returned the tank but kept the kimono.

    Gives any outfit that finished look

    This shell is a perfect layering piece, ideal as a garment to finish the look of a simple black jacket and pair of slacks or skirt. The fabric is yummy and, while it has substantial weight, feels like silk on. It runs true to size.
