  • Lovely!

I got this duster in gray. The embroidery is really pretty. The fit is true to size. It will look as good with jeans as with dressier pants. I love the LaBellum line. The products are well-made.

  • Need to remove the pockets.

This material and style does not do well with pockets. The only reason Im keeping this is because it goes perfectly with her lace layering tank. I noticed on the presentation that it looked actually a bit frumpy on svelte Colleen but I thought maybe it was just the blouseshe wore underneath But its the pockets which hit right at the hips and bulge out. Im going to sew close the pocket and remove them completely. I know my review would be more beneficial if I typed this up afterwards to say it improved the look, but Im pretty sure it wont make it look worse LOL. I bought the fabulous reddish one. The details on the cute trim down the front and sleeves on this item are quite nice. My sleeve length were fine. No issue there . True to size. Size large fit me. Im 54 170 lbs

  • The sleeves are off

This is beautiful too but the sleeves are off again. Standing in front of the mirror, I could see that the right sleeve was the perfect length and then I looked at the left sleeve and could easily see that it was longer. I decided to put the garment on a table and line them up to see if it was my body or the garment. I lined up the shoulders and underarms of both sleeves with the right/perfect sleeve over the left/longer sleeve. Even the lines in the material all lined up as they should. But at the ends, you can see at least 1/2" of extra material on the left sleeve. I could always push the sleeves up on my arms but shouldn't have to. And the garment is pricey to have any issues like this. Had the same type of problems with the velvet tops by Hillary Scott. Gorgeous pieces but problems with the sleeves on those items too. Too bad. I'll give this one 2 stars becuz you could always push up the sleeves. but I don't care to always have to do that.

  • Bathrobe

I tried this sweater because it looked nice on TV. However, in person, it looks like a frumpy bathrobe on. The little dandling balls which are not knitted into the sweater fabric-but attached as an afterthought, make the sweater look cheap and dumpy. I do not recommend this garment to anyone.
