Chefs will tell you that cast iron cookware is essential in every kitchen because it heats up evenly and holds the heat. That's why cast iron is the preferred material to use when both searing and simmering. There are no hot spots, and the pan stays hot even when cold foods hit the surface. As a bonus, cast iron can be used on all cooking surfaces, including induction. The only downside is that cleanup can be a challenge. That's why Kitchen HQ decided to design perhaps the most user-friendly line of cast iron ever!  

This high-quality cast iron skillet features a PFAS, PTFE, PFOS and PFOA free diamond-infused ceramic nonstick coating for durability. This makes everyday cooking and cleanup a breeze. Designed for higher temperatures, it offers durability and even heat conduction and distribution. Each pan has a nitrided surface under the coating which helps prevent corrosion and rusting. And it's got dual pour spouts for additional convenience. 

The pans in this set are generously sized at approximately 12” in diameter. Each piece has two loop handles, which making them easy to store, as well as to put in the oven to cook, bake or preheat prior to searing. The base is a deep 2.5" with a flat cooking surface, which makes it great to use as a sauté pan low casserole. The top is the size and shape of a classic large skillet. The skillet pan also serves double duty as a lid to the base. Plus, those grill ridges transform into basting ridges, as any rising steam will condense there, and drip back down onto the food cooking in the base.
