Crafted from high-quality stainless steel with a tri-ply base, so there's a layer of stainless built into the pot, with a slab of pure aluminum for heat conductivity, and another protective layer of stainless steel. It's got a built-in pour spout, and measurement markings inside for added convenience. The tempered glass lid is designed with both large and small hole strainer insets.
