Really??

The necklace that I received one of its larger stones was damaged and the pouch it came in was wrinkled like it had been wadded up, If this would have been a gift I would have felt terrible. Quality control is lacking. I love Jays jewelry and this is not very respectful to him to send his jewelry out in that condition.

Nephrite

Jay's nephrite is beautiful, and this was a bargain price. The beads are large and noticeable. I gave 4 stars because of the chalkiness on some of the main beads. I have been a Jay King customer for 22 years, and you never used to see this chalkiness on beads. Now, sadly, it is becoming fairly common, and that is disappointing. It is slight, & only on a couple of beads, but I have returned other pieces with this defect. I'm keeping this one.

Nephrite jade necklace

This is a lovely piece. The beads are as large as they are depicted on tv. The color is good but sure if the quality/color is a grade 3 or 4 through out. Also, there is some chalkiness appearance of the beads involving where they were cut, so it lacked some luster.Overall satisfied with necklace.
