Jay King Sterling Silver Chrome Diopside Cushion-Cut Split Top Ring

First of all I love all things J King. His designs are awesome and the materials he uses are of good quality. I have many of his pieces. Unfortunately however this piece did come to me with a very slight defect on the stone. I am not complaining as I am keeping it. Just a heads up.

This ring is gorgeous! The stone is beautiful and glistens in the light. I only gave it 4 stars because of sizing. I usually wear a size 6 in rings including Jay Kings so I had to exchange for a size 7 and was lucky it was in stock. The exchange process was painless. Thanks Jay for a beautiful ring. Thanks HSN for an easy return process.

I bought this ring as a birthday gift to myself. I have numerous pieces of Chrome Diopside jewelry; I thought this was very unusual and unique. I waited with baited breath for it to arrive. I eagerly opened my box......and I was crushed. My stone was literally crumbling, falling right out of the setting. I could have cried. I am not a jeweler or anything but I believe that the way the stone was faceted left it with weak spots somehow. I don't know. I was so disappointed. I returned it.

This ring is a dark green color. The stone is set in a silver box so there is no light that can really pass through it. The facets however do make it very shiny with a lot of sparkle as you move your hand. Mine did have very tiny scratches on the surface which is why I'm giving 4 stars. I do love the ring, it's natural look, and the sterling silver open band. It's a keeper for me.

I was fortunate to get a ring with a nice stone. It is pretty and light. I upsized as Jay's rings are usually too tight at my regular size. No need to this time - get your regular size.
