Overview & Details

Jay King Seraphinite and Andean Blue Turquoise Sterling Silver Pendant

Mined in Russia and topped with Andean blue turquoise, it will undoubtedly become your favorite accessory. Slip it on and be uplifted by their beauty.

Design Information
  • Each sterling silver earring has cushion-shaped cabochon of Andean blue turquoise at stud
  • Stones are bezel set

Good to Know
  • Moisture, skin oils and environmental factors can change the color of turquoise jewelry if left untreated. But stabilizing turquoise helps preserve the stone's normal color. Natural, mined turquoise nuggets are heated at a very low temperature for about a week, slowly drawing out moisture without damaging the texture. The stones are then placed into acrylic or polymer chemicals to replace water molecules. This stabilizes the stone and keeps its beauty and value intact.

  • Due to the composition and natural properties of mined gemstones, the product image may show slight differences to the actual stone in color saturation, tone, hue or other gemstone characteristics such as phenomena, color banding and color matrix.

  • Gemstones and pearls are sometimes treated to enhance their natural beauty. To learn more and find out about care instructions see details.

  • Quite beautiful

I bought the seraphinite pendant and ring. My first Mine Finds purchases. I watched Jay's show and this is the stone that "spoke" to me. I enjoyed hearing Jay's tutorial on its origin, etc., and reading more about it online in my own research. The piece is as striking as I'd hoped. The striations of lighter and darker greens and the pearly white of the chatoyancy are enchanting to look at, The quality appears solid. The turquoise at the top is lighter on mine than the photo, at least on my monitor, just to note. Very happy with my choice and looking forward to years of wear. Also looking forward to discovering what calls out to me next from this line.

  • Tiny Enhancer Opening

I so wanted to keep this piece, but I had to return it as out of my dozens of chains, omegas, etc., NOT ONE was able to fit through the enhancer opening. Most of the clasps did not want to go through the opening. I do have smaller chains which fit through it, but the weight of the stone compared to the tiny chains hung awkwardly on my neck. Had the opening been larger, I would have kept it to use with appropriate chains. The seraphinite stone was lovely, but Jay should have kept the turquoise out, as it was out of place on this pendant - the color on my turquoise was ho-hum, and didn't compliment the seraphinite.
