Overview & Details

Jay King Multi-Stone Mongolian Mist Turquoise Sterling Silver Pendant
If you're a fan of turquoise, you'll love the mostly uniform, sky-blue color of the "Mongolian Mist" turquoise in this fun, multi-stone pendant. A byproduct of large copper mining operations in Mongolia, these pretty stones feature a wispy, white matrix that sometimes resembles clouds. Don't miss your chance to own a handcrafted piece made with these rare and beautiful stones!

Design Information

  • Freeform sterling silver pendant has 7 bezel-set, freeform blue-green turquoise stones on round base in tree-like silhouette
  • Sterling bead accents

Good to Know
  • Moisture, skin oils and environmental factors can change the color of turquoise jewelry if left untreated. But stabilizing turquoise helps preserve the stone's normal color. Natural, mined turquoise nuggets are heated at a very low temperature for about a week, slowly drawing out moisture without damaging the texture. The stones are then placed into acrylic or polymer chemicals to replace water molecules. This stabilizes the stone and keeps its beauty and value intact.

  • Due to the composition and natural properties of mined gemstones, the product image may show slight differences to the actual stone in color saturation, tone, hue or other gemstone characteristics such as phenomena, color banding and color matrix.

  • Gemstones and pearls are sometimes treated to enhance their natural beauty. To learn more and find out about care instructions see details.

  • nice work

I love the color and the large bail. It will go on many of my necklaces.

  • Nice stones

Loved the design of this pendant, and the color of the stones. Wish it had a little oxidation on it to offset the brightness of the silver and show up the stones more. Didn't like this well enough to keep it.

  • Pretty, but....

The stones in this are nice size & highly polished, which is nice. I wish all the other complementary Mongolian Mist pieces had this high of a polish on the stones. Only the ring has as high of a polish on the stones. The pendant is a good size. I also like the high polish of the silver but I agree with another reviewer that it would look much better if it had oxidizing in the sunken area between the stone settings. The silver in that area isn't shiny, but it has an almost white look. I thought about it for a while & tried it with different types of necklaces/beads. I may have decided to keep it if it were an oxidized/darkened look in that area.
