Runs small

I have the necklace so i got the ring but have to return it. Im a 6, ordered a 6 and cant even get it over my knuckle. The band is thin so Im not sure what the problem is. I wish the host would have said to size up. Also, it's kinda ugly. Sorry Jay I still love you but this missed the mark. the side stones are dull and stick out pretty far, not as curved as it looks here.
