I waited too long and the single strand of Blue Opal sold out. Decided to order the three strand - I love this bead color and texture, and have received and keeping all the other pieces but the three strands just do no look like me - I will likely regret this in the future because it is a beauty, but I returned and hope someone is waiting for it.NCJayKingFan, NCWas this review helpful? 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I Love Mine!
I could no wait to get this when I saw it presented! I own opals of all sort and this necklace is the most beautiful denim blue opaque to milky color. It is weighty but not uncomfortable for me. Shades range from pale sky to deep denim "wash". My only complaint is this; Please Jay when doing a piece of this caliber upgrade the clasp! For the price the clasp should be something more than the same thing you use on a lesser price point.baadbunny, FLWas this review helpful? 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
Not for me
I couldn't justify keeping this for the price. The beads looked like glass. When something is this expensive it really should be hand knotted to contribute to the perceived value. The opals just being strung on a wire looks too much like a craft project.Lindy711, ILWas this review helpful? 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
I pre-ordered this, hoping the price reflected the quality of the necklace, but I am VERY disappointed! Two beads are broken in half on the strand, and only one broken half bead was in the bag, so the other was broken BEFORE it was placed in the bag. I can see MANY cracked beads, so I don't want a replacement, even if it were available. I think this must be a soft material, as opal is, and it won't hold up in the long run. Necklace was jammed into a small box, considering it's price and size. Also, there were no matching earrings without black tourmaline. Color me SAD! BTW, Jay said this opal is from Ethiopia, but the website says it's from Madagascar.714abc, ILWas this review helpful? 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
