Overview & Details

Jay King 2-Stone Mongolian Mist Turquoise Sterling Silver Ring
If you're a fan of turquoise, you'll love the mostly uniform, sky-blue color of the "Mongolian Mist" turquoise in this fun, freeform ring. A byproduct of large copper mining operations in Mongolia, these pretty stones feature a wispy, white matrix that sometimes resembles clouds. Don't miss your chance to own some of these rare and beautiful stones!

Design Information

  • Sterling silver ring has 2 bezel-set, freeform blue-green turquoise stones stacked atop split ring base
  • Split shoulders taper to underside

Good to Know
  • Moisture, skin oils and environmental factors can change the color of turquoise jewelry if left untreated. But stabilizing turquoise helps preserve the stone's normal color. Natural, mined turquoise nuggets are heated at a very low temperature for about a week, slowly drawing out moisture without damaging the texture. The stones are then placed into acrylic or polymer chemicals to replace water molecules. This stabilizes the stone and keeps its beauty and value intact.

  • Due to the composition and natural properties of mined gemstones, the product image may show slight differences to the actual stone in color saturation, tone, hue or other gemstone characteristics such as phenomena, color banding and color matrix.

  • Gemstones and pearls are sometimes treated to enhance their natural beauty. To learn more and find out about care instructions see details.

  • Unique Setting/Bright Blue

I really like this ring. The color is outstanding and free of matrix, and the 2 stones are perfectly set in their bezels. Like Jay says, this is old-world craftsmanship! The setting reminds me of a spider or insect body segments, in a way. Organic but beautifully done. I also like that you can wear this ring 2 ways...depending on which end of your finger the bigger stone is, etc. This can be an everyday piece of jewelry, or it can feel dressier if you wear it with fancier necklaces, earrings, etc. Glad I got it.

  • My Most Favorite Mind Finds Ring Yet

Received this ring a couple of weeks ago and just love it! The turquoise color is more of a neutral blue so it can be worn with any color scheme. Even though the ring has a split shank that is wide, it is very comfortable because it tapers in the back. It really elongates & slenderizes the finger, and looks really elegant for a turquoise ring because of it's design. It is my favorite Jay King ring so far.

  • clean blue

Ring very clean blue. I have a large hand and this is alittle too big for me. The space between the 2 stones is alot. Don't know if just this one or not. I like but must return. I don't normally find fault with Jay's jewelery, it's 95% on the money.
