Lovely addition to my amber collection

I admit to being an Amber junkie! I have Jay's necklace very much like this one with alternating turq pieces and this new one is just as lovely. Some reviews talked about the amber being thin or flat and I don't 'get that' criticism. This piece is substantial as are all his amber pieces. Also those who say amber is 'plastic like' and not real need to educate themselves. Amber is not a 'rock gemstone'. Its organic ancient tree resin and therefore very lightweight by its nature.

I find it a little flat and this. Kept it because it matches an existing chip amber necklace I own. Together they look gorgeous.

Not What I Expected

Disappointed in this piece. I decided to splurge on something beautiful like natural amber. It looked substantial on TV but, this necklace looks like a fake representation of amber. On TV it looked chunky and had a nice presence. I wanted to love this. I really did. It's just not worth the money. Returned the item.

Disappointing

I bought this because I had one for years, which I loved because of the warm golden tones. This is so flat and dark looking that I find it oppressive. Not warm or golden, beads look more like plastic. Returning.
