  • Fabulous

I am 5'8 and this baby fits over my head! I took the advise of another customer. I bought an apx. 12 inch heavy pipe, (dug a 11 1/2 hole) and put it in the ground and slipped the plastic tubing in it. Just take it with you to be sure the plastic tubing will fit inside the pipe. (not too loose) I paid $9 for the pipe and it's really heavier than needed. I was please to see how easy it is to release the lines (like an umbrella so I don't have to worry about it getting torn up if it storms this week. Plus, you can lift the pole of of the ground if you need to put it on your porch or garage in case of severe weather. No concrete needed! Did I mention I hung up a blanket to dry today! I love this pole. Kudos HSN!

  • Handy

Although the directions call for adding cement and stones to the hole for the pole, my husband concocted his own method. He inserted a pole 12:" in the ground and then inserted this pole. It's been up for a few months now and seems to be working. I love to hang clothes outside and this allows me to do so.

  • Glad I took a chance. Good quality for the price!

Received this umbrella dryer & went to the hardware store. Mixing the no-mix concrete was the hardest part of the whole process & even THAT wasn't too hard for someone who has never done it before. Followed the directions to a T. After the concrete hardened (about 2 hours) we installed & used it. It is sturdy & can handle jeans & tops, tho I have not tried bedding nor towels yet, I have no doubt it can handle them, given they are distributed for weight, like anything else. On an 83 degree day with a 25 mph wind our shirts were dry in 2 hours, 3 for the jeans. I LOVE it is collapsible (READ DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO COLLAPSE), & easy to remove so it can be put away to keep birds from pooing on it or bad weather (hail) from ruining it. Thanks HSN for a great deal with flexpay :)

  • good item

I baught this to hang out wash when the weather is nice and for things I do not want to put in my drier. It works well. And there is plenty of space for many items to dry. Only thing is the lines are a bit close and if over crowded things take a while to dry. I do feel it is a good buy for the price.
