      My Bad

Biggest mistake. This unit may work well for more moderate climates, but it is 7pm now and 108 degrees outside with 10% humidity and this unit blows nothing but warm air unless you keep adding ice to it. It worked great until the temperature climbed last week. Naturally, I am 3 days past my 30 days return date so there is not much to be done. Go with an air conditioner if you need cooling. There is a reason air conditioning replaced evaporative coolers years ago. This was an expensive lesson

      Amazing

When my air-conditioner quit I thought I'd have to suffer through the heat of the summer with only my small portable cooler. Then, I found this on HSN and with the help of flex pay I got a big surprise. This is no little, light weight portable cooler. It's fairly good sized and holds quite a lot of water, and has a place to put ice if need be. It worked so well, the next week I purchased a second one.

      Energy Saver

Our home is an older 3 story home. We have turned the attic area into a master bedroom. There is central air throughout the house but it runs constantly to keep the 3rd cool in the heat of summer. We had been looking at window units and different options when I happened to see this. This has probably been the best money we've spent in a long time. We are able to turn our thermostat up at night so we set it to around 80 degrees and set to come on in the morning about 30 min before we get up. During the night we use the Honeywell cooler to cool the 3rd floor. It has made a tremendous difference in our electric bill. It is super easy to set up and ready to use within minutes. I'm sure there are other home situations where this would benefit someone and still save money. I highly recommend this product.

      Ok so far

I needed this for my office in my house, which gets really hot in the summer. I gave it four stars- it blows well, but is loud (but I got used to it.). So far, it seems to cool the room. This is not for you if you want to put this in your bedroom at night while you sleep.
