Good to Know

Clean the interior and exterior surfaces of the appliances with a damp cloth or sponge. Wipe dry with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive or metallic materials.
To remove dough baked on the cooking surface, pour a small amount of cooking oil on to the hardened dough. After 5 minutes, carefully wipe with a paper towel or dry cloth.

Great for me

I am enjoying this Arepa Makers versatility. I have type 2 Diabetes and watch my carbs very carefully. I do not make things with flour. I take 1 low carb cookie. Crumble and divide into the 6 sections. Beat 3 eggs and pour over the 6 sections. Close lid. Within 2 minutes I have 6 delicious servings. 2 arepas = 1 carb. Delicious. Possibilities are endless.

I love the idea of this

There is definitely a learning curve to getting a good arepa to come out of this machine. I don't think the fault is the machine as it Cooks good little omelets just the size for a English muffin and it also Cooks a perfect egg. So far I can't get the arepas to taste good and come out the way they're supposed to.
